🛠 Common Reasons & Solutions

1. Unsupported File Type

Ensure the file you’re trying to open is a PDF or another format supported by A1 PDF Editor. The app may not support certain image, DOCX, or encrypted formats.

2. Incomplete Download

If you're importing from cloud storage or another app and the download was interrupted, the file may be corrupted.

Fix:

  • Delete the file.

  • Re-download or re-import it completely from the source.

3. Corrupted File

If the PDF itself is damaged, A1 PDF Editor might not be able to read it.

Fix:

  • Try opening the same file in Apple’s Files app or Preview.

  • If it works there, re-import into A1 PDF Editor.

  • If it doesn't, ask the file sender to share a new copy.

4. Large or Complex PDFs

Very large or heavily layered PDFs may not open properly on older devices.

Fix:

  • Try opening on a newer iPhone or iPad.

  • Split the file using a desktop PDF tool before importing.

🔁 Still Can’t Open the File?

  1. Go to Settings → Support → Send Feedback within A1 PDF Editor.

  2. Attach the problem file (if possible) or upload it via a cloud link (Google Drive, Dropbox).

  3. Include a short description of the issue (e.g., where the file came from, error message shown).

Our team will investigate and advise further.
