A1 PDF Editor Crashes or Won’t Open – Troubleshooting Guide (iOS)

If A1 PDF Editor unexpectedly quits or doesn’t launch on your iPhone or iPad, try the steps below to fix the issue.

1. Force Close and Reopen the App

  • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or double press Home button on older devices).

  • Swipe A1 PDF Editor off the screen to close it.

  • Reopen the app from your home screen.


2. Restart Your Device

  • Restart your iPhone or iPad to clear temporary glitches that may affect app performance.


3. Check for App Updates

  • Go to the App Store.

  • Tap your profile icon → Scroll down to Updates.

  • If A1 PDF Editor appears in the list, tap Update.


4. Check iOS Version

  • Ensure your device is running the latest version of iOS.

  • Go to SettingsGeneralSoftware Update.


5. Reinstall the App

⚠️ Make sure you’ve backed up important files (if sync is off) before deleting the app.

  • Tap and hold A1 PDF Editor, then tap Remove App.

  • Reinstall it from the App Store.
