A1 PDF Editor Freezes or Becomes Unresponsive – Troubleshooting Guide (iOS)

If A1 PDF Editor becomes slow, freezes, or stops responding while in use on your iPhone or iPad, try the following steps to fix it.

1. Force Quit the App

  • Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (or double-tap the Home button).

  • Swipe A1 PDF Editor off the screen to close it.

  • Relaunch the app.


2. Restart Your Device

  • Restart your iPhone or iPad to clear temporary memory issues that may cause the app to freeze.


3. Free Up Device Storage

  • Low storage can slow down apps.

  • Go to SettingsGeneraliPhone/iPad Storage, and clear unnecessary files.


4. Update the App

  • Go to the App Store.

  • Tap your profile icon and scroll down to check for A1 PDF Editor updates.

  • If available, tap Update.


5. Update iOS

  • Make sure your device is running the latest iOS version.

  • Go to SettingsGeneralSoftware Update.


6. Reinstall the App

⚠️ Ensure your important files are backed up if sync is not enabled.

  • Delete the app.

  • Reinstall A1 PDF Editor from the App Store.
