Viewing and Managing Annotations in A1 PDF Editor

  1. Open the Annotated PDF: Launch A1 PDF Editor and open the PDF file containing annotations.

  2. Access Annotation Tools:

    • Navigate to the Edit menu.

    • Select Annotations to view available annotation tools such as highlights, underlines, strikethroughs, notes, and shapes

  3. Review Annotations:

    • Use the annotation panel to browse through all annotations in the document.

    • Click on individual annotations to navigate directly to their location in the PDF.

  4. Edit or Delete Annotations:

    • Select an annotation to modify its properties, such as color or thickness.

    • Right-click on an annotation to access options like Edit, Delete, or Reply


πŸ“€ Exporting Annotated Pages

While A1 PDF Editor offers robust annotation tools, exporting only the annotated pages as a separate PDF file may not be directly supported. However, you can manually extract annotated pages using the following method:

  1. Identify Annotated Pages:

    • Use the annotation panel to note the page numbers containing annotations.

  2. Extract Pages:

    • Navigate to the Organize menu.

    • Select Extract Pages.

    • Enter the page numbers of the annotated pages.

  3. Save as New PDF:

    • After extraction, save the new document containing only the annotated pages.


πŸ“„ Exporting Annotation Summaries

As of now, A1 PDF Editor does not support exporting a summary of annotations (e.g., as a separate text or HTML file) directly.
